On the 2nd of March 2012, Priceline and Women's Health teamed together to break the new Guinness World Record
for the Largest Breakfast in Bed. In Martin Place, Sydney, Australia a total of 289 people were served breakfast by celebrity chef 'Fast' Ed Halmagyi.
To complete the record 289 people lay in bed for 5 minutes to eat
breakfast despite the rain. 2 people were discounted from the record
because their legs or feet were outside of the bed and 1 baby was
discounted for being fed from a bottle rather than eating two
breakfasts!!

The event celebrated Priceline's 'I Feel Beautiful' campaign supported by Ada Nicodemou from Home and Away as the 'I Feel Beautiful' ambassador. The campaign surveyed 12,000 women with 51 percent claiming they felt
more beautiful if they got more sleep and 46 percent saying they would
feel beautiful if they ate well.
Underlying
helping women feel beautiful, the campaign also brings the much needed
awareness to problems that mothers face who suffer from postnatal
depression.
It was a exciting day, Sydney Daily Telegraph and Sunrise teams ran around the whole event televising for morning Sydney TV and the morning paper. For my 10 seconds of fame, I was interviewed by Unseen TV an online TV show who asked what was my favourite breakfasts in bed which I answered with the fact that I love blueberry crepes.
